Meet at reception in the early morning for your Uluru Sunrise, Base and Kata Tjuta Tour (7 hours). From the Uluru sunrise viewing area you’ll see the horizon change hue even before the first rays of sunlight break through. As the sun reaches the horizon, light shoots across the desert. Uluru sits in an endless sea of red dunes. They provide a stark contrast against the blue sky. Drive to Uluru for a guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. The tour showcases ancient Aboriginal rock art, desert flora and wildlife and the Indigenous history of this sacred site. Lastly we visit Kata Tjuta where you have the chance to walk into Walpa Gorge. Walpa Gorge itself is a natural creek that carves its way between the two tallest domes of Kata Tjuta, The path folds out in a rocky formation and follows a 2.6-kilometre return route that takes you directly through the rugged walls of the landmark.

Breakfast is available from 6:30am - 9:30am, followed by check out at 10:00am. Enjoy the morning at leisure before joining the transfer to the airport at 12.15pm for your flight back to Mackay with Alliance at approximately 3.15pm, arriving back in to Mackay at 6.45pm.
